Bye Bye Oklahoma, Hello Texas :)

Jeff & I left that Oklahoma life behind. We hated living so far away. So one weekend, we just decided to pack up and move right on back to God's country. After a crazy packing spree and a few thousand dollars to get out of our lease/uhaul/deposits, we were back and loving it.

We moved back in September of 2011. Jeff has been working for himself and it has been amazing. I work for the county and am adjusting well.

A Whole Lot Of Nothin'

We haven't been up to a whole lot. We made a trip to Whitney last weekend for Jeff's nephew's birthday parties. It was SO hott but it was nice spending time with everyone! We stayed at my mom's house Saturday night and drank margaritas :) We got up and went to Traders Village Sunday morning! If you know me, you know I LOVE flea markets! I am my mother's child. I found a few cool things! Once I put some spray paint on those bad boys, I'll post new pictures! I also posted a picture of a plant stand that I found in our back yard at our last house. You know I could not throw that away, that's a crime!! ;) It's currently drying from spray paint- I'll post a new picture of that as well once it's done.

I've been staying pretty busy with CJ Boutique orders. I've been looking for a job- no luck yet. I also bought some prenatal vitamins today. Did you have to read that twice? No, it's no a typo. I bought some, hopefully it'll help things along a little bit. Everyone is holding their breath for a little baby- I'm pretty sure if someone asks me "so when are you going to have a baby?" one more time, I just might throw up.

And a new picture of us taken this weekend :)

A sad visit

I visited my grandparents at the cemetery yesterday. It was the first time I had been since my grandmother's funeral in May 2009. Her was passing was so hard on me and definitely took a lot of time to get over. I wish they had a headstone, they deserve one. My uncle did a beautiful job making a wooden cross for them though. I added a stone tile today. I've always seen them for $40+ but decided to give it a shot and it was surprisingly easy.

I've been staying at home working on orders. Jeff L-O-V-E-S his job! His coworkers and boss seem to be perfect for him. I'm so happy he finally works at a place that appreciates him and that he can grow. He got a $2/hr raise on his second day, SO proud!! Our apartment is finally started to become less cluttered with boxes and more like a 'home' I'll take pictures and put them in a post as soon as everything is on the wall.
